Financial or In-Kind Donation

–The Lake County Historical Society requires financial support from the community to operate the Center, keep children’s programming affordable and to care for collections.

Cash Donations

Cash donations may be made by using the PayPal Donate button on this site or by sending a check directly to the Lake County Historical Society at 415 Riverside Dr., Painesville Township, Ohio, 44077. All donations are acknowledged by letter and in the annual report.

Special Project Donations

If you would like to fund a special project at the Center, please contact the Executive Director for opportunities. (exec.director@lakehistory.org)

In-Kind Donations

These donations are material rather than cash and include items needed on a daily basis at the Center from office equipment to site maintenance tools . If you would like to make an in-kind donation, please contact the site manager or office manager All in-kind donations receive a tax deductible letter. Leave-a-Legacy Estate Planning

The Lake County Historical Society works with the Cleveland Foundation and those individuals who wish to leave a more substantial gift in support of local history and Lake County traditions. These gifts may be a simple bequest in a will or a more complicated financial arrangement. All inquiry’s are kept confidential and donors work directly with the Cleveland Foundation to benefit the Society.
