      -Fall Dine Around Schedule-


The new Dine-Around schedule begins in September. Fall programs will include a look at the architecture of Lake County with some interesting speakers and programs.


Our first dinner will be held at the Willoughby Hills Community Center on Tuesday, September 14. This sit-down dinner will be catered by LaVera Party Center. The program is a presentation on Franklyn Lloyd Wright by Cheryl Kuonen of the Willowick Public Library.


Next we will visit Quail Hollow Resort, Tuesday, October 12. Our presenter, Lynn Vandevort, will discuss the Unique Architecture Styles of Lake County including that of Lake County’s Master Builder Jonathan Goldsmith.


Finally, as a change of pace on Friday, December 10, we will dine again at Olivor Twist in Willoughby, and then head off to Willoughby Fine Arts for the presentation of “Annie.”

 

-Bus Tours-


                                            September Bus Trip
Wednesday, September 22, we will travel to Cleveland for the Bus Tour that was originally planned for May. We will visit the Old Stone Church, Soldiers and Sailors Monument on Public Square and have lunch( on your own) at the Cleveland Brewery. The cost of the trip is $29 for members and $34 for non-member.


                                          Special Evening of Fun
Mark your calendars for Friday, November 5, for a special evening of fun. LCHS presents The Candlelight Mystery Players in a Murder Mystery Dinner. Cost of the dinner will be $35 per person. The dinner will be held at The Lake County History Center. More information will be coming on this evening
