Dine Around

The Historic Dine Around program gives guests the opportunity to dine at many of Lake County’s most historic restaurants and venues. Each evening has a program or entertainment that compliments the venue and reveals stories of Lake County’s past. The program has a spring and fall session, reservations are required and limited. Historic Fashion Shows

The Society maintains an educational collection of historic fashions and reproductions. Organizations may contact the Adult Ed. Department to make arrangements to rent the clothing for fashion show fund raisers or other events. Scripts are also available with fashion shows. Various charges do apply. |

Motor Coach Tours
These tours are planned for the fall and spring and are created with unique historical destinations at special member prices. Watch this site or contact the Center for information on the Fall 2008 tour and costs.
Blue Stockings Ladies Society

Meets the first Thursday of the month at the History Center. There is no cost for this program and non-members are welcome. Community Workshops and Lectures
Throughout the year, the Society sponsors programs of historic interest and practical application. Watch this site for information on the next presentation. Most programs are offered free to members and a nominal cost to non-members.Woman’s History Month Luncheon
In recognition of Woman’s History Month each March, the Society’s adult ed. department hosts an elegant ladies luncheon with all the delightful details. Woman’s groups are urged to attend with reserved seating guaranteed. Reservations are required, door prizes, silent auctions and raffles are part of the fun.
